Quelques nouvelles du côté de Will Haven.
Le groupe a terminé l'écriture d'une quinzaine de morceaux. 10 d'entres eux seront enregistrés pour le prochain album.
On attend la prochaine entrée en studio ainsi que le nom du producteur. |

Jeff réagit à la mort de Paul Gray, bassiste de Slipknot, disparu avant-hier.
Wow im pretty speechless with what has happend in the past few days. Paul Gray, I cant believe you have left us so soon. Paul was a truely special and beautiful person. I met the Slipknot guys when they took will haven on tour with them in 2000, during their first record. From that time on I considered those guys family. Of course I didnt get to see them as much as I wanted to since they were off conquering the world, but when I did see them it was like we had never had time apart. I was always excited to see Paul because everytime I saw him he would give me the biggest hug and say "I love you man" and when he said that you knew he meant it. He truely had a huge heart. He was the real deal. Just to think how much one guy has changed the world, Paul did that. He started Slipknot, brought all those guys together, wrote the majority of the music, made their dreams come true and brought a whole bunch of people with him, including us. If it wasnt for Paul I would have never of met Chris who I consider one of my best friends. The Slipknot guys are probably the tightest family I have ever met playing music, so I can only imagine what those guys are feeling right now, It has to be like losing a true family member, not a band member. My heart goes out to my brothers, Joey, Jim, Corey, Shawn, Sid, Mick, Craig and most of all my best bro Chris. To his wife Brenna and Paul's soon to be beautiful little girl. I know his soul will continue to bring on more amazing things in this lifetime, he meant to much to too many people not to live on within the people he touched. Mr Paul Dedrick Gray I will miss you my brother, I will miss the hugs and the kiss on the check everytime I saw you, I will always remember it like it was yesterday, you changed the world my friend and thank you for letting me a part of it. To my Slipknot bro's, I hope to see the family continue and keep Pauls creation alive. Everyone take care of you,,,

Cette semaine, Will Haven entre en studio pour la première de plusieurs sessions étalées sur les mois à venir.
Et durant cette première session, ils vont enregistrer un titre co-écrit avec Tristan, pianiste du trio atypique de My Own Private Alaska (MOPA).
Il y a deux ans, les deux groupes ont fait tournée commune en Europe.
Résultat de cette collaboration dans les mois à venir.

Le groupe s'apprète à entrer en studio pour enregistrer le successeur de The Hierophant, sorti en 2007.
Le producteur de ce nouvel album devrait être annoncé dans les jours ou semaines à venir.

Toujours le blog, qui nous apprend que Ghostride va reprendre du service !
Will Haven est toujours la priorité bien sûr, mais un second album de Ghostride devrait être en préparation dans les prochains mois. |

Même si l'on n'apprend rien sur le prochain album, de bons souvenirs et anecdotes sur le groupe y sont mentionnés. Vous voulez savoir pourquoi Grady est pieds nus sur scène (pour les anglophones avertis) ? |

Voici la première photo officielle du groupe, avec Chris Fehn (Slipknot) à la basse.
De gauche à droite : Mitch (batterie), Pag (guitare), Grady (chant), Jeff (guitare) et Chris, toujours en studio. Aucune date de sortie n'est pour l'instant prévue.
A noter que le groupe a ouvert un blog depuis peu. Et dans le dernier message posté, on y apprend que le groupe devrait y poster dans les heures qui viennent un extrait d'une des nouvelles démos.
Enfin, je devrais pouvoir vous proposer dans les jours qui viennent une petite interview de Chris. Je n'envoie les questions que ce soir, alors s'il y a quelque chose que vous souhaitez lui demander, posez-là sur le forum.

Non, ce n'est pas un poisson d'avril tardif : Mike Martin quitte Will Haven afin de se consacrer à sa famille. Et c'est Chris Fehn (percussioniste de Slipknot) qui le remplace à la basse.
Le groupe termine actuellement d'enregistrer des démos et espère entrer en studio le mois prochain.
Voici le message posté sur le myspace du groupe :
April 1st 2010, as I type this we are in our rehearsal space recording more demos for our upcoming record with Matt Pedri, even getting some vocals tracks in with Grady, album is shaping up to be by far the best stuff we have ever done, insane stuff,
we hope to be getting into the studio and recording the real deal within the next month or so. Were taking our time making this record to make it the best it can possibly be.
As for some new news, Mike Martin has had to step away from the band to take care of his family which some of you have known he has not been able to tour with us the past few tours, So we have been just moving on without a bass player in the past few months working on this new record. Well I am happy to say we have found our new bass player and we are more than excited about it, Our long time brother and close friend Chris Fehn (Slipknot) has joined the family. He is here with us tonight recording for the new demo and already has had tons of imput making this record even more amazing, So we are more than stoked to have him with us. Slipknot is taking some extended time off while they concentrate on side projects but when they are ready to work on the new record Chris will be right back to work with them, Until then we will be recording the new record and playing shows in US and Europe.
So thats whats been going on in the Haven camp, the Haven are stronger than ever..

Le seul et unique site francophone sur Will Haven est enfin de retour.
Bonne année 2009, 2010, joyeux noël, etc...
Cette troisième version du site était en sommeil depuis plus d'un et le récent retour à la composition du groupe m'aura remotivé.
Cette nouvelle version voit l'ajout de pas mal d'informations et la mise à jour de pas mal d'autres. Grosse nouveauté : à l'instar de Deftnz.net, vous avez désormais accès aux informations via un flux RSS (gros bouton bleu à votre gauche). Usez-le jusqu'à la corde :)
2010 sera une excellente année puisque le cinquième album du groupe devrait y voir le jour, avec Grady de retour au chant ! C'est officiel. Egalement, le site recevra bon nombre d'informations toutes fraîches en provenance... de Jeff Irwin directement ! Le groupe est prêt à compter sur ses fans. Pas mal de choses à venir, donc.
